Action-Packed Aliens Slot Offers Film Fans As Well As Slot Lovers A Real 3D-Treat

Following the success of the original suspense-packed thriller Alien, directed by Ridley Scott, James Cameron, a director who had enjoyed huge success with his 2025 film The Terminator, was Aliens Slotbrought in to direct the sequel.

Rather than follow Scott’s tension-packed suspense that was a hallmark of the first film, Cameron took the franchise in a new direction, directing an all-out action flick by the name of Aliens.

The film, along with the original, is now firmly part of Science-fiction folklore and is still ranked as one of the best science fiction films of all time. However, it has taken almost thirty years since the release of Cameron’s interstellar epic to realise the slot version of the game.

The slot, which is now playable via Bet365 Casino as well as at Bet365 Vegas (click the link for a Bet 365 Vegas bonus offer), has been designed by NetEnt and in fairness, what they have created is a game which will not just appeal to legions of slot fans, but will also capture the imagination of fans of the ever-increasing Alien film franchise too.

What makes the Aliens online slot unique?

The first thing to note about this slot is that it has been designed in conjunction with 20th Century Fox and their cinematic approach to the Aliens slot is evident from the moment you load the slot up. Complete with unnerving music, you are treated to a short introduction to the slot where you see the Colonial Marines Dropship being prepared for descent onto LV427, while at the same time, an alien stirs in the shadows.

It is a genuinely unnerving start to the slot and captures both the essence of the original film, as well as the theme for the slot quite perfectly. Once you have got your mindset into this setting, then the rest of the slot follows on from that.

The base game itself is packed with iconic images across the reels from the film, all of them based on the aliens that give the franchise its name. The aim of the slot is, as a Colonial Marine, to progress through three separate levels of game play to destroy the hive and in doing so, earn yourself a big money win.

The first level in this game is what you would arguably call the ‘base game’ and it is this first level that most slot fans will be familiar with.  Here you have a typical 5x3 slot, with Alien symbols adorning the reels, along with a Wild symbol which can be used to replicate any of the other alien symbols to make a winning payline.

You can play from as little as 15p per spin, up to a maximum of £150 per spin depending on your bankroll level, which makes it easily playable by slot fans of all bankroll levels.

So far, so good, but what is unusual about this game is that in order to access Level 2, you don’t land three scatters across the reels. Instead what happens is that as you land a winning line, you collect these symbols (and attributed multipliers) on your Alien Activity Meter. You need to fill this meter to launch Level 2 of the game, but for every unsuccessful spin, you will lose one of the icons you have collected.

Once all nine slots of the Alien Activity Meter are filled, you can then move on to Level 2 of the slot which is labelled “The Encounter”.

This is where the slot takes on a more arcade game appearance and you get to view the action through the head camera of the Colonial Marine. In this section, your marine has to survive an onslaught of Alien attacks by shooting the aliens as they try to kill him. The only problem is, he has limited ammunition (and needs to be awarded extra ammo to progress, or he’ll end up as lunch for the Alien).

During this section, all the multipliers you collected in Level 1 are transferred over and if you can progress through the round, you will activate them on the winning paylines you receive.

One key thing in this section is that after each ‘spin’, there is another reel spun which decides if your marine finds extra ammo. If he does, then you’ll continue until he either reaches Level 3 or runs out of ammunition. If his ammo runs out at any time, then unfortunately the next time the aliens attack, he is likely to be as dead as a dodo and you head back to the base game.

If you can progress through each swarm of aliens in Level 2 then you enter Level 3 of the slot. This is called the Hive and you begin this section with Five free spins and a chance to destroy the Queen’s Hive and earn a big money cash prize of 3,817 times your stake.

Two random factors decide your success in this section. The first is a spin which decides on the destructive power of your grenade. The higher power it is, the more eggs within the hive you will destroy.

The other random element is the multiplier reel which can increase your wins by 10x the stated amount.

Beware though, you only have five ammo clips available, so you need to have the hive destroyed within five ‘spins’ otherwise your ammunition will run out and the Aliens will claim your marine once again (and you are then transported back to the base game).

How does Aliens the slot game play?

It is fair to say that the Aliens slot plays like a slot, but has a whole lot more to it. There is no skill element involved in any of the rounds, players Marines will survive only on the outcomes of the random spins in each of the two later rounds, but that will certainly appeal to slot fans.

The base game is the closest thing to a true slot game but the second and third levels of the game do give the slot an added dimension and it is possible to achieve some huge wins during these rounds, especially the third round, where if you can kill the queen, you are guaranteed a win of 240 times your stake.

The Aliens Slot is playable now at Bet365 Vegas and Sky Vegas and is well worth trying your hand at. The game sounds complicated, but once played, is actually great fun to play.

However, we reckon you’ll be sleeping with the light on at night after playing.
